When you buy a lab-grown diamond, we choose an IGI certified lab-grown diamond, and then we set the finished ring, which comes with an IGI physical certificate that you can look up and test.
The Gemological Research Institute Of Switzerland certifies the material of the ring and the material of the main stone. It is not as strict as the IGI in terms of the 4Cs, but more of a test of the ring and stone material.
These are two different organizations and they certify different things.
